Synergizing Teaching and Scholarship

This symposium will be directed towards educators and will provide information necessary to develop, frame and analyze educational research.  Since many educators have limited time, the focus of this session is to organize oneself in order to take advantage of opportunities where teaching and scholarship can be synergized.  By the end of the session, attendees will be more aware of how educational frameworks scaffold teaching and research, of multiple research designs that are commonly utilized, and of statistical analyses that can be used in educational research.
